The American company CleanSpark acquired 10 thousand mining devices Bitmain Antminer S19j Pros for the amount of $28 million after attracted financing and significant discounts on mining installations.

In a published press release, CleanSpark stated that the mining equipment was purchased from the brokerage company Cryptech Solutions at a discount at a sale price of $28 per unit of computing power terahash.

CleanSpark CEO Zach Bradford said that at the end of the bull market in 2021, the company focused on creating its own infrastructure with the abandonment of plans to form pre-orders for new equipment. As a result, this decision turned out to be correct and throughout the bear market, the company managed to buy equipment at a discount.

This summer, CleanSpark signed contracts for 1,800 units of equipment in June, 1,061 units in July and 3,400 units in August. Thus, by December 2022, the total hash rate of the company will be 5 exahashes per second.
