The Spanish cryptocurrency exchange Bit2Me has announced that it has bought Dekalabs, a company focused on software development in the areas of blockchain and cryptography. The amount of the transaction is not reported.
The purchase of Dekalabs will strengthen Bit2Me’s position in providing services to companies and institutions in creating tools based on cryptocurrencies and blockchain protocols.
Recall that Bit2Me is the first company to receive a license from the Bank of Spain as a provider of crypto services. In the summer, Bit2Me representatives announced that they had reached agreements on three upcoming deals, which include 90% of the shares of the Latin American exchange and the purchase of a fintech company and a software developer, whose names were not disclosed at that time.
Bit2Me CEO Leif Ferreira said that the company plans to hire 250 new employees, despite a difficult period for the entire crypto industry. The boss of the company believes that in the conditions of numerous layoffs, it is possible to hire highly qualified personnel.
