Fidelity adds stacking to Ether ETF application and LIDO token price increases by 9%

According to a report in an amendment to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Fidelity, a trust capital management giant, provides clients of its own Ethereum fund with the opportunity to stake some assets.

The registration statement informs that investors may from time to time place part of the Fund’s assets through one or more trusted staking providers, which may include an affiliate of the investor.

Against the background of this news, the Lido stacking protocol token price grows by 9% to $2.64.

Recall that Fidelity joined the race to launch an exchange-traded fund ETF in November last year, along with Black Rock, Ark Invest, 21Shares and Grayscale.
