On Thursday, the Ministry of Finance for the first time published a document developed on the basis of the decree of the US president on the settlement of digital assets, as well as cooperating with foreign regulators to solve the problems of the cryptocurrency sector. The main message of the document is to ensure compliance of work with digital assets in the spirit of US democracy.
The statement of the ministry determines the need for further elaboration of standards for the development of digital payment architectures and CBDC in order to reduce the inefficiency of payments and guarantee compliance with all legal requirements.
Recall that representatives of the White House have been developing a state strategy for the cryptocurrency sector since the beginning of 2022. To maintain the vector of work, the Ministry of Finance will continue to organize meetings and forums.
