The attacker who organized the exploit of the Euler Finance credit platform in the amount of $200 million returned the bulk of the stolen assets. Against the background of the news about the refund, EUL tokens have noticeably increased in price, which demonstrates the positive mood of the crypto community.

According to Etherscan, the transfer of 51 thousand ETH coins back to the address of the Euler smart contract is monitored. At the time of publication of the news, this amount of funds is equivalent to $90 million. However, following the footsteps of other addresses, it became known that the hacker made other transactions to transfer tens of millions of DAI coins to other wallets.

Recall that the Euler lending platform was subjected to an exploit some time ago in March. As a result of the attack, digital assets worth $200 million in DAI, wBTC, sETH and USDC coins were stolen. The hacker used flash credit to carry out the attack, tricking the protocol and making it falsely assume that it stores various amounts of eToken and dToken.

Upon the discovery of the theft of funds, representatives of Euler Finance publicly informed the attacker about the possibility of receiving a reward of $ 1 million for the return of 90% of the volume of stolen digital assets.
