PancakeSwap expands to zkSync Era

Decentralised exchange PancakeSwap (CAKE) has integrated the zkSync Era protocol. This expansion is part of the exchange's strategy to scale, increase its user base and grow revenue.

Token exchange and liquidity delivery services are already available to zkSync Era participants. The protocol transaction fee is 0.01% of the total transaction amount.

The launch of the farms functionality is planned for the coming weeks and will give users the ability to place their tokens into liquidity pools to earn CAKEs.

As a decentralised exchange, PancakeSwap uses smart contracts directly rather than intermediaries to process transactions. DEX is currently available on the blockchain networks BNB, Ethereum, Polygon zkEVM, Aptos, and now zkSync Era.

According to DefiLlama, the zkSync Era protocol had a token volume of over $1.57bn as of Wednesday.
